Power outages hit nearly 6,000 in Sonoma County

Nearly 6,000 households around Sebastopol and in other parts of Sonoma County were without power Sunday morning, according to PG-E spokewsoman Jana Morris.

The outage was reported around 11:10 a.m. and power restored to everyone by early afternoon, Morris said. The cause is still under investigation.

A second, smaller outage brought on by equipment failure is still impacting 123 households in Santa Rosa, mainly along Ridley Ave., Morris said.
