Repeat DUIs suspected in several arrests

The CHP arrested several drunken-driving suspects on what would be second offenses over the weekend as wet roads also led to dozens of minor collisions, according to Officer Jonathan Sloat.

On Saturday night, a man with a blood-alcohol level nearly three times the legal limit was arrested after crashing his car off Asti Road near Citrus Fair in Cloverdale, Sloat said.

Officers found that the man's Toyota Camry had drifted off Asti Road and crashed through a fence. They found the driver, Kris Beylikjian, 34, of Cloverdale, lying on his back on the fence, Sloat said.

He was found to be on probation for a prior DUI offense and, once cleared from the hospital where he was taken after the crash, was booked into jail on charges of DUI and violation of probation, Sloat said.

Officers made three other arrests Saturday on suspicion of drunken driving, Sloat said.

Sandra Nieto, 38, of Healdsburg was arrested on suspicion of DUI and violating probation.

Brandon McGarry, 25, of Santa Rosa was arrested on suspicion of DUI, driving while his license was suspended and violating probation.

Marco Sevilla, 28, of Santa Rosa was booked into jail on suspicion of violating probation, driving while his license was suspended and outstanding warrants.
