It all kicks off with Bottlerock Napa Valley, the much anticipated music festival with headliners No Doubt, Imagine Dragons, Snoop Dogg and more. May 29-31Bottlerock Napa Valley: Wine Country's biggest music festival hits the Napa Valley this weekend with headliners No Doubt, Imagine Dragons, Robert Plant, Snoop Dogg and more. This 3-day event not only features both big and local names in music, it also touts a wide variety of local food and drink, as well as thought-provoking art. The festival spotlight will be shining on 5 stages with jam-packed entertainment, as well as a VIP lounge for the festival-elite. A few tickets still remain, but are bound to be snatched up soon. Starting on Thursday evening check out Pride & Joy at a 5:30 p.m. concert. You can even sit at one of the front row VIP tables for a $50 donation. Then on Saturday is Petty Theft, the ultimate Tom Petty tribute band, performing from noon - 3 p.m. Finally on Sunday, twist and shout to 50s, 60s and 70s music with J Silverheels from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Besides Thursday's VIP tables, all concerts are free. The 2-day event at the Raven Theater in Windsor will showcase films in a series of themes. On Friday, view a few of the more dark and spooky films of the festival. Then on Saturday, watch films that make you think, are visually stunning, focus on love or that make you smile. Each themed segment of the festival is $10, or you can get a full event pass for $60. This Friday features blues band, Tommy Castro & The Painkillers. The event is free and starts at 7 p.m. in Cloverdale's Downtown Plaza.
