Brief deluge soaks North Coast (w/video)

The brief spurt of heavy rains is believed to be the cause of a solo spinout on Highway 101 that snarled traffic late Wednesday. Rains were faulted in a mud and rock slide on St. Helena Road on Wednesday evening.

The storm is making its way south, according to National Weather Service meteorologist Steve Anderson.
