Police cautioned people to avoid the area of Big Bend Drive and Cabrillo Court in northeast Petaluma as they responded to the report of a burglary there shortly after noon on Tuesday.
The area is just blocks away from where an attempted burglary was reported Monday night.
The incident appeared to be over by around 12:30 p.m.
No information about the burglary was immediately available.
