Suspected Santa Rosa tagger arrested in 75 acts of vandalism

Police arrested a 22-year-old Santa Rosa man Tuesday who they suspect is "HEFAE," the graffiti artist responsible for scores of tags in the Coddingtown area over the past eight months.

"El Jefe," pronounced "HEFF-ay," is Spanish for "The Boss."

Reynaldo Zamora-Ruiz Jr. was booked into the Sonoma County Jail on the charge of felony vandalism. Police said Zamora-Ruiz Jr. committed at least 75 acts of vandalism since early last year.
