Small earthquake rocks The Geysers

A small earthquake shook an area near The Geysers Sunday night around 10:30 p.m.

The 3.0 magnitude quake rattled an area about 4 miles northwest of The Geysers and 14 miles north of Healdsburg, according to a preliminary report by the US Geological Survey.

Seismic activity is common in the area.
