Rose Parade set for 10 a.m. Saturday in Santa Rosa

Tens of thousands of Santa Rosa and Sonoma County residents are expected to turn out for Saturday's 120th annual Luther Burbank Rose Parade and Festival in downtown Santa Rosa.

The parade begins at 10 a.m. at Sonoma Avenue and E Street and ends near Juilliard Park, where an all-afternoon festival will combine food and family-friendly entertainment.

This year's theme is Heroes &Helpers, with a number of community leaders and inspirational individuals set to receive recognition.

Streets downtown are expected to be closed as early as 8 a.m.
