A special meeting of the Russian River Fire Protection District board has been scheduled for Tuesday to allow for two new members to be sworn into office.
Chuck Limbert and Mark Emmett were elected last week to replace recalled board President Kevin O'Shea and Vice President Linda Payne, who were removed from office by the voters in the same election.
The 6 p.m. meeting, at the Guerneville station, will include a closed-door session for the newly formed board to discuss a pending legal claim filed against the district and firefighting staff by Debbie Miller, the district's executive administrative assistant.
No other items have been placed on the agenda.
