The swimming lagoon at Spring Lake Regional Park in Santa Rosa will be opened up to dogs Monday. The event, called "Water Bark," follows a pair of pool parties for pooches that were big hits in the fall.
The entire lagoon area will become a leash-free zone Monday so dogs of all sorts can run, swim and play.
The first Water Bark event Sept. 17 drew more than 300 dogs, whose owners paid a nominal fee to raise funds for the blue plastic dog waste bags available at various locations around the park.
Monday's event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The cost is $3 for Regional Park members and $5 for non-members.
Only dogs will be allowed in the water.
