State beach fees

EDITOR: How wonderful. Sonoma County is making sure that we, the public, are not charged for parking at state beaches ("Coastal day-use fee plan rejected," Friday). I guess this means that the county will no longer charge for parking at the beach areas it oversees, since to do so would make our county politicians appear to be hypocrites.

You can't have it both ways.
