District elections

EDITOR: Often I find myself wondering who my district supervisor might be. I wonder why Santa Rosa does not have district elections for citizens to vote for City Council members; I often wonder why attempting to locate a representative from my district is so difficult.

It is most frustrating navigating Santa Rosa City Hall in an attempt to reach a person in city government when I want and/or need information. Please tell me where the bridge crossing the surrounding crocodile-infested waters is so that I might reach the castle housing the city of Santa Rosa and Sonoma County government offices. Even the secret area code to the castle will help.
