A Sebastopol man suspected of drunken driving Monday night struck a woman in a downtown crosswalk, Sebastopol police said Tuesday.
The woman, Barbara Fogel, 57, of Sebastopol suffered apparent minor injuries.
Driver Alexander Moser, 31, told officers he'd had three beers at a downtown bar, said Sgt. David Ginn.
A preliminary test showed Moser had a blood-alcohol content of almost twice the legal limit of .08 percent.
The woman was hit at about 7 p.m., as she walked across Burnett Street at South Main near the heart of downtown.
An ambulance crew treated Fogel for a cut arm and foot injury. She declined to be transported to a hospital.
The driver showed signs of having been drinking so officers put him through some sobriety tests, which he failed, Ginn said.
They arrested him on suspicion of felony drunken driving causing injury.
Moser was booked into the Sonoma County Jail. Bail was set at $100,000 and he remained in custody Tuesday afternoon.
