Letter of the Day: Anniversary missed

Anniversary missed

EDITOR: For those who were alive in 1945, and especially those of us in the military, Aug. 14 was the most important day of our lives. Japan surrendered, ending World War II. It's interesting that the anniversary of V-J Day, Aug. 14, 1945, was not mentioned in the press.
