Rohnert Park garage fire causes $55,000 in damage

Fire broke out at a Rohnert Park garage late Sunday night, causing about $60,000 damage, reported Rohnert Park public safety officials.

The Alma Avenue fire was reported at 11:37 p.m.

Officers first to the scene found a fully involved garage fire that was spreading to the home and a fence, said officials.

Rohnert Park was joined by Rancho Adobe and Rincon Valley firefighters on the effort. Officials said it was under control in about 25 minutes.

No one was living at the home at the time of the fire. The cause was under investigation Monday.

Damage was estimated at about $55,000.
