Letter of the Day: Bad judgment

Bad judgment

EDITOR: Interesting article in Thursday's paper about Montana Judge G. Todd Baugh's apology for his "inappropriate comment" concerning a 14-year-old rape victim. What appears to be missing is the fact that rapist Stacey Rambold was charged with this crime in 2008 and flunked out of a sex offender treatment program, and the victim committed suicide in 2010.

Score: Rambold 31 days, Victim 0.

Punished enough? And let's hope the judge loses his next election.
