Letter of the Day: Not a destination

Not a destination

EDITOR: The scenery's great, but Sonoma County doesn't deserve to be designated as having rising status as a world-class cycling destination.

Here's why: Crumbling roads and mostly narrow, highly trafficked streets and highways; large numbers of unlicensed drivers who are a danger to all; equally large numbers of state-sanctioned pot-smoking folks who drive and who are a danger to all.

Still want to ride your bike here?

Just come and deposit your tourist dollars first.
