Tea-party terrorism

EDITOR: We're about to witness an act of terrorism in the pursuit of political gain. It won't be in Iraq or Syria but right here in the U.S. There won't be real bloodshed, but there will be an act of intimidation intended to strike fear into citizens. The tea party has high-jacked the Republican Party, and it's threatening to shut down the government unless the president and Democrats defund Obamacare.

The mark of a true terrorist is a fanaticism that blinds him to the reality of damage and pain that will be inflicted by his act. The tea party's act is a savage attack on the legislative process. You don't like a law, don't wait to permit its implementation, destroy it by force of intimidation. You don't like a president, don't wait to vote him out of office but destroy him with every contrived impediment, including voting against all his ideas, even some that are very good. Savage him with your vicious accusations. Bully him with your threats to inflict pain and damage to his administration.
