Foley wines expands Napa foothold with purchase of stake in Calistoga hotel

The ever-expanding Foley Family Wines has increased its foothold in Napa Valley by purchasing a stake in the Calistoga Ranch luxury hotel.

Bill Foley, who owns 16 wineries and several hotels throughout California, Washington and New Zealand, has been on the lookout for an additional hotel in Napa Valley to showcase his wine for some time.

"It's a great property and will really work with the Food and Wine Society," Foley said in an email.

The Food and Wine Society offers members discounts, rewards and exclusive experiences.
