Earthquake rattles The Geysers

A 3.0 earthquake rocked the Geysers early this morning, less than 24 hours after a 4.0 magnitude quake was recorded in the same area.

The 3.0 magnitude quake was recorded at 4:42 a.m. Wednesday by the USGS. It was one mile north east of the Geysers and 26 miles north of Santa Rosa.

The 4.0 magnitude quake was recorded at 9:27 Tuesday morning, one mile north east of the Geysers and 25 miles north of Santa Rosa.
