Scandal's silver lining
EDITOR: I had thought having a civil rights lawyer and constitutional law professor for president would be a good thing. What we got are a president and attorney general who don't protect and preserve the Constitution but know how to circumvent it. The silver lining in this mess is that the attorney general, with his attacks on the freedom of the press, did something that seems impossible in Washington anymore. There is bipartisan agreement against his actions. The liberals and conservatives are talking to one another, not about one another.
