Man hospitalized after collapsing at Windsor hot air balloon festival

Emergency crews responded to reports of a man who had collapsed at the Hot Air Balloon Classic in Windsor Sunday.

The man, estimated to be in his 70s, was not breathing and had no pulse when firefighters from the Windsor Fire Department arrived at Keiser Park at approximately 7:45 a.m. Bystanders were performing CPR on the man when firefighters arrived, said Capt. Aaron Levin.

Firefighters used a defibrillator on the man and transported him to Sutter Hospital in Santa Rosa.

His condition was not immediately known.
