Windsor mulls plan to build baseball stadium

The Windsor Town Council on Wednesday will consider a proposal to partner in the development of a minor league baseball stadium.

Chris Lee of Pacific Baseball Partners wants the town's redevelopment agency to locate and acquire an 8-to-10-acre parcel of land to build a stadium.

The estimated $10 million cost of building the stadium would be financed through private capital. The proposed minor league franchise would be affiliated with Major League Baseball.

Wednesday's meeting begins at 6 p.m. The Council Chambers are at 9291 Old Redwood Highway.
