Sonoma County pair still losing big on 'Biggest Loser: Couples'

Sonoma County's own "Biggest Loser: Couples" contestants, cousins Sam Poueu and Koli Palu survived yet another week on the ranch in Tuesday night's episode.

As two of the remaining nine contestants, the Rohnert Park pair snuck in after-hours workouts in anticipation of the week's immunity challenge, to lose 2 percent of their body weight.

Poueu, 24, won immunity with a 10-pound weight loss, or 3.82 percent of his total weight. A former football lineman at Rancho Cotate High School, he has lost a total of 120 pounds in the 12 weeks since the show's ninth season began in January. He is a security guard.

Palu, 29, also a former football player at Rancho Cotate, is a football coach at Windsor High School. He has lost a total of 127 pounds.

In the show, contestants compete to see who can lose the highest percentage of weight by the end of the season. The winner receives $250,000.
