Viewer votes to determine 'Biggest Loser' contestants' fate

The fate of Sonoma County "The Biggest Loser: Couples" contestant Koli Palu is now in the hands of the viewers after Tuesday's episode of the popular reality weight-loss show.

The 29-year-old Rohnert Park football coach and security officer lost 13 pounds after a difficult month at home in which he chose to leave Sonoma County for Las Vegas to continue training for the episode's challenge (running a marathon) without distraction.

The weight loss, however, was not enough to guarantee him a spot in the finale and a chance at the $250,000 prize.

A popular vote between Palu and another remaining contestant, Darius George (who gained two pounds in last night's episode), will determine who will compete in the finale against the remaining two contestants.

Palu, who started on the show with his cousin Sam Poueu, also of Rohnert Park, has shed 185 pounds off his 410-pound frame.
