Cutting named CEO of Sonoma Valley Bank
Sonoma Valley Bank has promoted its president, Sean Cutting, to also serve as chief executive officer.
Cutting replaces Mel Switzer Jr., who retired last month after 19 years as the bank?s CEO. Switzer remains chairman of the bank.
Cutting, who grew up in Sonoma, joined the bank in 2002 as vice president and was named president last year. The bank has two branches in Sonoma and one in Glen Ellen.
Sonoma Valley Bank also named Kelly Bruns senior vice president and chief credit officer. She joined the bank in 2007 with 15 years of business experience, including serving as credit officer for Napa Community Bank.
