AUDIO: PD reporter Randi Rossmann on the Salcido case

Press Democrat staff writer Randi Rossmann discusses her role in covering the Salcido case and on the aftermath of the slayings. Rossmann has been covering crime for several decades at the paper.

In her own words: "I was raised in Santa Rosa since I was one, when we moved here for my father to take job as program director at KSRO radio. After taking a Girl Scout tour of the Press Democrat when I was about 10, I thought working here as a newspaper reporter would be a great job. I graduated from Piner High, SRJC and studied journalism at Chico State. After graduation I worked briefly at KSRO then was hired by the newspaper. I've been here 28 years this month and it's still a great job. Most of my years here I've been involved in crime coverage. I've been married 20 years and have two children, Jackson, 16, and Mackenzie, 12."
