On the right track

EDITOR: There are so many things to like about Sunday's paper, I don't know where to start. I'll stick to three comments.

First, I love the new format. It's cleaner, brighter and easier to handle. I think the new Towns section is great, especially the way you're devoting each page to a town or towns. The piece on Cal Skate ("A place to relive childhoods") was delightful, particularly its emphasis on nostalgia.

The article by Lindsay Waterman ("The joys, and trials, of raising service dogs") was the highlight. As a senior citizen, I'm always encouraged by the efforts of our teenagers to help people. I'm also impressed by this quality of writing in one of our high school newspapers. And the picture accompanying the column couldn't be better.

Keep up the good work.
