EDITOR: To the county supervisors who believe that public power is "incredibly exciting," then, by all means, place it on a ballot and let the citizens decide whether they want to pay more for green power ("Public power study gets OK," Wednesday).
But, you won't do that, will you? You know it would go down in defeat. It's easier to just impose it on the public, Without a choice in the matter or a choice of power providers. Just higher utility bills. Bad call.
