Threat of rain this weekend prompts venue change

The Healdsburg Jazz Festival, which opens its 10-day run Friday, has changed the location of two of its outdoor events because of the threat of rain this weekend.

Both events - "One Voice: An Afternoon of Vocal Jazz," 4-8 p.m. Saturday and "Latin Jazz on the Green," 1-5 p.m. Sunday - had been scheduled for Recreation Park, at University and Piper Streets.

Now both events will be held at Sonoma Country Day School's Jackson Theater, 4400 Day School Place, Santa Rosa.

Current ticket holders will be honored for both concerts. Tickets are still on sale for each event, with general admission priced at $25.
