There's a lot of fun to be had at the DaVero Tasting Room this summer. Next up is June 30's Sunday Supper, an ongoing series. Chef Ken Rochioli will incorporate produce from the DaVero garden with barbecued oysters, herbed fillet mignon and apricot clafouti. DaVero wines will flow.

Things get started at 6:30 p.m. and hosts Ridgely Evers and Colleen McGlynn limit attendance to just 24 guests. Cost is $75 per person. Colleen McGlynn is a smart, charming and gracious hostess and her husband, Ridgely Evers, is smart and drop-dead funny. Although his olive oil is among the best in the world, we sometimes think he missed his calling by not becoming a stand-up comic.
