Letter of the Day: Elections aren't for sale

Elections aren't for sale

EDITOR: How about that election? I knew President Barack Obama would win, but I never thought it would come quite so early. I have faith in the American people again. That U.S. Supreme Court decision to let corporations spend their way to the election didn't quite work out for them. The Karl Roves and Koch brothers and all the others that poured billions into this election found out that the American spirit prevails, and elections can't be bought.
