A four-month investigation into marijuana cultivation and sales in Santa Rosa yielded two arrests, three sophisticated indoor gardens, plants and processed marijuana worth about $150,000, Sonoma County Narcotics Task Force officers said Thursday.

A tip from a neighbor sparked the investigation, task force Sgt. Chris Bertoli said.

The task force, with help from the local Drug Enforcement Administration team, raided four homes this week, dismantled the gardens and made the arrests.

Indoor gardens were found at three homes, in Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park, Bertoli said.

Officers arrested Jason T. Cheek, 28, and Terri L. Bray, 30, both of Santa Rosa, for suspicion of cultivation of marijuana and possessing marijuana for sale. They were booked at the Sonoma County Jail and released after posting bail.

A 28-year-old Rohnert Park man also is expected to be arrested in connection with the investigation on similar charges, Bertoli said.

The officers found 500 marijuana plants, 13 pounds of processed marijuana, 20 pounds of harvested, unprocessed marijuana and related tools and equipment.

Officers also found one handgun and $2,400 cash.
