FILE - In this Oct. 20, 2009 file photo, hotels and casinos are lit up along the strip in Las Vegas. A report released this week detailing an extravagant conference held by federal employees near Las Vegas in October 2010 has set Nevada abuzz. The internal report by the General Services Administration resulted in the termination of two top deputies and the resignation of the little-known agency's top official hours before its release. Casino Alley

EDITOR: Given all the rich promises of yearly millions to city governments in Rohnert Park and Cloverdale from local Native Americans, based on smoke-and-mirrors gaming, Highway 101 should be renamed Casino Alley.

Where does all the money come from to build the casinos and pay for the slot machines? How can the Native Americans guarantee ongoing revenue? Has anyone analyzed the current revenue of the gaming economy in Las Vegas? Casino Alley is not the glittering Las Vegas strip. Publish all the financials for all the Native American gaming in California. See who has won and who has gone up in smoke - and mirrors.

Why not more fast-food drive-thrus? At least they have positive revenue over the long term and give something in return for your money.
