Letter of the Day: Leadership failure

>b>Leadership failure

EDITOR: In an effort to begin to reduce spending, Congress failed. To that end, a bipartisan super-committee was formed. It failed, too. Now, painful, but necessary cuts outlined by this committee are also going to fail. Why do our leaders call the failures of their duties to the American people a "cliff," instead of what it is? It is a fiscal failure.
