PD Editorial: Dual picks in Assembly contests

Nevertheless, Chesbro, one of the remaining legislative supporters of SB 400, which opened the flood gates to generous and retroactive pension increases, deserves to have his feet held to the fire. Tom Lynch, a member of the Sonoma County Planning Commision who has been sounding the alarm about the pensions for more than six years, is just the guy to do it.

We believe voters in the 2nd and 10th Assembly districts will ensure important and robust debate about pensions - and send the right message to Sacramento - by electing Marc Levine and Michael Allen as the top two contenders in the 10th Assembly District and Tom Lynch and Wes Chesbro as the top two in the 2nd Assembly District.
