Santa Rosa trio arrested in bridge vandalism

Three Santa Rosa residents were arrested for suspected vandalism Wednesday morning when police officers caught them spray painting the under side of the South E Street bridge, police said.

The officers were flagged down by a civilian who pointed them to the bridge between Sonoma Avenue and Second Street shortly after 8 a.m., authorities said.

Police said the officers could smell and hear the spray paint when they approached and saw the trio in the creek vandalizing the bridge.

Those arrested were Daniel Lopaka Spielman, 26, Cy Wesley Baker, 33, and Amber Christine Parkinson, 20, who also was arrested for violation of probation, police said.

None remained in custody Thursday, Sonoma County Jail personnel said.
