As many as 1,000 bicyclists will take to the roads in west Sonoma County and Alexander and Dry Creek valleys on Saturday as part of the Giro Bello benefit ride organized by the Rotary Club of Santa Rosa.
The rides begin at 8 and 9 a.m. at O'Reilly Media in Sebastopol, which is also the finish.
The shortest ride, 29 miles, takes riders over the west county and Joe Rodota trails, winds around the Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport into Windsor and returns to Sebastopol on Eastside, Laguna, Vine Hill and Mill Station roads.
A 68-mile ride will take cyclists over Chalk Hill Road to Highway 128, to Geyserville, back toward Healdsburg, into Dry Creek Valley and on Westside Road back to Sebastopol.
The longest ride, 102 miles, includes a climb over Geysers Road to Cloverdale, then back to Dry Creek Valley and Healdsburg, and then Westside and Eastside roads back toward Sebastopol.
Registration is still available Saturday morning before the ride. The cost is $55, $75 or $95, depending on the route.
