Bicyclist injured in collision with car in Santa Rosa

Police and medical personnel were on the scene of a bicycle crash at West Steele Lane and Range Avenue in west Santa Rosa early Wednesday, though it was unclear how serious any injuries might be.

The bicyclist collided with a vehicle in the area shortly before 8 a.m. and was still at the scene at 8:20 a.m., emergency dispatchers said.

It was unclear if the bike rider was a child or an adult or if he or she would require hospitalization.
