Pedestrian hit by car in Fountaingrove

A woman was struck by a car and injured Wednesday morning in Santa Rosa?s Fountaingrove area, according to preliminary reports of the incident.

The woman was walking on Cross Creek Road at Thomas Lake Harris Drive around 8:10 a.m., when she was struck, emergency dispatchers said.

Initial reports indicated she may have suffered a broken arm and a minor head wound, Santa Rosa Fire Battalion Chief Andy Pforsich said.

She was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries, he said.
