Sebastopol officials have developed an online survey to collect public input on how they should guide future growth.

The survey seeks opinions on how to prioritize everything from housing to bike paths to pothole repair as work goes forward on a 20-year update on the city’s general plan.

Officials in particular hope for input from residents of the city, those who own property or businesses in Sebastopol, and those who work there, Planning Director Kenyon Webster said. Residents of unincorporated Sebastopol who think of the city as “their” town also are welcome to complete it, he said.

An advisory committee already has begun the estimated two-year process of revising the general plan for eventual review and adoption by the City Council.

The survey takes about 15 minutes. It is at http://sebastopol.generalplan.org/content/surveys.
