Santa Rosa police Sunday were still searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a bicyclist on Fulton Road one week ago.

The suspect vehicle was described as a silver Dodge Durango or Dakota between the years 1997 and 2000, Sgt. Lance Badger said. The vehicle may have visible damage from the collision, Badger said.

Frank Moreno, 49, of Santa Rosa was struck just before 7 p.m. Nov. 28 by a southbound vehicle on Fulton Road south of West College Avenue near the Santa Rosa Creek bike path, police said.

Police officials believe the Dodge driver struck Moreno and kept going. A second southbound motorist, Bianca Belle-Bonas, 18, of Santa Rosa subsequently struck Moreno, police said. Belle-Bonas pulled over and called 911.

Anyone with information about the case can call Officer Mike Mieger at 543-3636.
