Mendocino County law enforcement seized 180 marijuana plants and arrested two Sacramento men while serving search warrants in northern Mendocino County last week.

Calixto Fortunato Canastuj-Garcia, 48 and Jaime Hernandez, 35, remain in jail on $25,000 bail each and are expected to be arraigned Wednesday, according to Mendocino County jail authorities.

In addition to the marijuana plants, the Mendocino County Marijuana Eradication Team and the Mendocino Major Crimes Task Force confiscated about 300 pounds of dried “shake” marijuana and packaging materials at the Piercy location, south of Richardson Grove State Park, authorities said.
