Traffic crunch at Graton Resort & Casino not over, CHP warns

Local CHP officials are alerting drivers to expect heavy traffic in the area of the new Graton Resort & Casino over the weekend.

CHP and Rohnert Park public safety officials will have additional officers on duty and drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes.

Alternate routes include:

; Highway 116 in Cotati to Stony Point Road

; Todd Road to Stony Point Road

; Old Redwood Highway/Penngrove

; Santa Rosa Avenue to Petaluma Hill Road

The CHP advises that aside from the main casino entrance at Wilfred Drive/Golf Course Drive, people can also get to the casino by taking Redwood Drive to Business Park Drive; Rohnert Park Expressway to Labath Avenue to Business Park. Drive; or Highway 116 to Stony Point Road to Wilfred Drive/Golf Course.
