Napa County residents got a shaking early Tuesday from a 3.2-magnitude earthquake, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The 5:40 a.m. quake was centered three miles southwest of Napa and about six miles southeast of Sonoma.

Napa police dispatchers received a few calls confirming the quick jolt was an earthquake, said one dispatcher.

“Nobody reported any damage or injuries,” the dispatcher said.

The geological survey website showed more than 300 reports from the public of a weak or light earthquake from locations including Napa County, east of Rohnert Park and Petaluma and east into Solano County.
