A solicitation of prostitution charge has been dismissed against former judicial candidate and Glen Ellen lawyer John LemMon after he completed a program for first-time offenders, court records show.

LemMon, 51, who last ran for judge in 2010, was arrested at a Santa Rosa hotel Feb. 5 in a prostitution sting that netted 10 other suspects.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge Feb. 26 and was accepted into the Community Accountability Diversion program, which typically requires attendance at a series of educational classes.

The charge was dismissed July 25, records show.

LemMon declined to comment on the case or say if he plans to run for office again. He has served as a temporary judge and was a Sonoma County prosecutor.
