A series of vehicle crashes Monday morning, including three along Highway 101, tied up traffic but caused no major injuries, according to the CHP.

Morning commuters jammed up in northern Santa Rosa with a crash near Airport Boulevard that left two lanes blocked and crash debris scattered across the highway.

The crash, just before 8 a.m. was in southbound lanes between Windsor River Road and Airport Boulevard. Traffic temporarily backed up beyond Windsor.

A few miles south of that incident a 7:57 a.m. crash in northbound lanes of Highway 101 and Santa Rosa Avenue also created traffic issues.

Then at 8:23 a.m. callers reported a wreck at Petaluma Hill Road at Adobe Road. The three-car crash also added to the morning’s traffic woes on the route used by many as an alternative to Highway 101.

Late Monday morning a Highway 101 crash near Hearn Avenue also blocked lanes and sent one person to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, the CHP said.
