Today marks the return of a separate local business

section to The Press Democrat an additional three days a week.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, stories on the newsmakers and

trends shaping the local economy will be featured on the cover of a

freestanding section with the Find It advertising inside. On those

days, the daily television listings will move to the sports

section.

Including Sunday, our business news will have its own section four

days a week and will remain on the back of Sports on Tuesday and

Saturday. At the height of the recession, we consolidated our

business and sports sections to cut costs. With the change to local

ownership, we are investing to strengthen our local news coverage.
