Northern California skydiver dies after falling out of harness

DAVIS - A skydiver has died in Northern California after he fell out of his parachute harness during a jump.

Yolo County sheriff's Sgt. Hector Bautista says the 23-year-old man made the jump in Davis at about 6 p.m. Saturday. He died at a hospital.

His name hasn't been released but Bautista says he was an experienced skydiver.

The accident is under investigation.
