A woman died in a fiery, head-on, two-car crash late Saturday night on Highway 121 in Schellville and a man and woman were hospitalized with major injuries.

One of the drivers, Danielle Bell, 26, was pulled from her 1999 Mercedes by an unidentified good Samaritan, just before her car was engulfed by flames, but was pronounced dead at the scene by Sonoma Valley Fire Department personnel.

Bell, whose hometown was not known, was traveling south on Highway 121, north of Ramal Road at 10:20 p.m. Saturday.

Bell’s car crossed into opposing traffic, and collided head-on with a 2014 Chevrolet driven by Nestor Dutko, 53, of Chelmsford, Mass., according to the CHP.

Dutko was airlifted to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa with major injuries. His passenger, Victoria Dutko, 51, was flown to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, also with major injuries.

The CHP is continuing to investigate the crash.
